| I just got home from dinner with two of my best friends in the entire world. I am glad to be home so I can hang out with them. I sit right now in front of my computer realizing that in less than one week I have to go back to school. I am a little worried about this because honestly, I can't really say that I have been in school since well...last spring semester. I don't truly consider this past semester studying in Europe three days a week for about two hours a day truly going to school and even if I did, I have been out since October. Do I even remember how to study?!? Class, what the heck is that??? Needless to say, I am worried people. Very worried. Where are going to be my weekend trips to Italy or the Czech Republic. Gone are the glory days and here are the days of classes taught in an accent I can understand, school five days a week and weekend trips only as far as the Starplex Galaxy 16. (although part of Oceans 12 was filmed in both Amsterdam and Rome) What has happened, what has happened. And just to think, this is all so what I wanted only about a month ago. I was crazy.
Oh and by the way, it's true, I really am listening to this horrible song.
--Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you may go.-- Josh. 1.9
| Well ladies and gentlemen, I have been chillin here in Waco having a great time. Last week was nice because I had nothing that I absolutly had to do! I love that. Then, as promised to my Maastricht buddies I got a job!!! Yes yes, all you Maastricht people out there I know find that hard to believe but when I make a promise, I follow through! So you can now say hello to your new David's Bridal employee. You all feel free to come to me for all your wedding needs. Okay, so it is a pretty cushy job but hey, it is fun, we try on wedding dresses all day for training, and I get to work with my best Baylor friend, Natalie. What more could I ask for!
I am very much looking forward to Christmas. I can't wait to see all my family, my grandparents, my cousins, aunts and uncles. Being away has taught me to truly cherish all the time I am able to spend with them. We are doing things a bit differently this year and having x-mas with my dad's side on Christmas eve but that is cool and I am totally looking forward to seeing my cousins.
Life is good, work is good, no school or exams are good and AMERICA is good! (I do have to confess though that I kinda wish I was back in Europe with all my pals! That's okay though, our back to school party will be hard to beat I have a feeling....at least with Aneesa and I throwing it! YAY.
Anyway, I am out of here....Merry Christmas to y'all...each and everyone....please remember me when shopping for your Christmas presents ...seriously remember me, that wasn't a joke. God Bless!!
| Here are all of the countries I have been too! Most of them came while on this trip! I want and hope to go to many many more!

| Hey!! I am writing my first xanga entry since being back in the good ole USA. I am so excited to be home and even more excited to see all of y'all! My final weeks in Europe were great. As you all know, Matt came over for my last week, his Thanksgiving break, and we had an excellent time together. It was wonderful to see him. I didn't realize how much I had missed him until he was with me! The plane ride home was long and knowing I was getting ready to see my parents made me very impatient but we got through it and arrived right on time.
That first night back my family and Matt's family went out to dinner together at Chilis. I had been craving their chips and hot sauce for about two months or so so I was dying!! We had a great time. My family loves spending time with Matts. They are just good, sweet, down to earth people. We all had a good time and it was good to be back on American soil!
Other than that my week has been going slowly. I have been home for almost 3 full days and I must confess I get bored at times. All of my high school and Baylor friends are off at their respected Universities finishing up the semester and my Maastricht friends are all scattered about as well. I can't wait to get back to Waco and meet up with them all again! Aneesa and I are planning a back to school dinner/party thingy for the whole Maastricht group. We can't wait to get started on the details!
Anyway, I am headed out now. Pretty soon I have to get started on cooking dinner for the family. I am testing out and practicing my Italian recipes Joseph cooked for me while I was in Italy. I want to have my skills down so I can make Italian food next semester! Yummy!!!
Hope you all have a super super week. If you are in Waco right now, I will be there on Sunday and would love to hang out with you. I think I am going to be there for 8-10 days so we will have plenty of time to play! Can't wait to see you all!
| I am back in Maastricht for a few days before I leave to go to my godmothers. I am going to spend Friday evening and Saturday all day with her and then Sunday at noon head to Paris. I have to be in Paris before the sun goes down, at 4.30 pm, (yeah, I know) and I had a few things to do before checking into my hotel and locking myself in there until the next morning. I don't like staying by myself, it sort of freaks me out. The next morning I am getting up at like 4.30 am to go pick up Matthew at the airport!! He and I are both so very excited that he is almost here!! Anyway, I have had such a blast in all the countres I have been too. In Switzerland, we went to a Hooters! Who would have known they had a Hooters in Interlaken!!

here is a picture of some of the ladies at halloween. from left to right it is hanna, morgan, me and jade. we had six finals in six days so we all decided that a break was needed. we all got dressed up and went out as a group. later that night we built a slip in slide down one side of our hallway. oh good times, good times.
